Family: Lomariopsidaceae Also known as: [ Common ] African water fern [ Scientific ] Gymnoperis heudelotii Region: Africa
CareLow light, slow growing plant that does better with high water movement and CO2 addition. An elevated level of phosphates as well as soft acidic water seems to be preferred, though not a necessity. Like other ferns, do not bury the rhizome if planting. Can also be attached to rock/wood work.
Propagation by rhizome division and rarely by adventitious shoots.
