Family: Araceae Region: Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ivory Coast, Togo, Cameroon
CareDue to it's potential size, it should only be kept in the biggest aquariums. Considered a marsh plant, it has a limited adaptation to the aquarium and has a long acclimation period.
Do not bury the rhizome in the substrate when planting. As with all Anubias sp. it is prone to algae due to slow growth, and is usually left alone by herbivorous fish.
Propagation by rhizome splitting.
